Report Email Abuse

At SenderWiz, we take spam and email abuse seriously. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of email practices and ensuring that our platform is used responsibly. If you have received an unsolicited email or believe that a SenderWiz user is violating our Anti-Spam Policy, we encourage you to report it to us.

What Constitutes Email Abuse?

Email abuse includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sending unsolicited commercial emails (spam).
  • Use of misleading subject lines or deceptive email headers.
  • Phishing attempts or fraudulent emails.
  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or harmful content.
  • Violation of local or international email regulations such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or CASL.

How to Report Email Abuse

To help us investigate and take appropriate action, please follow these steps:

  1. Gather Evidence:
    • Save a copy of the offending email, including the full email header. Email headers provide essential information about the sender and the email’s origin.
    • If possible, take a screenshot of the email.
  2. Complete the Report Form:
    • Visit our Contact Us page.
    • Fill out the form with the following details:
      • Your name and contact information.
      • The email address that received the abusive email.
      • A brief description of the issue.
      • And also paste the full email header.
  3. Send Your Report:
    • Submit the form, and our team will promptly review your report.

What Happens Next?

Once we receive your report:

  • Our team will investigate the issue to determine whether the email violates our Anti-Spam Policy or any applicable regulations.
  • If a violation is confirmed, we will take appropriate action, which may include:
    • Warning or suspending the SenderWiz user.
    • Terminating the SenderWiz account involved.
    • Reporting illegal activities to the relevant authorities.

How to Retrieve Email Headers

Email headers are crucial for us to investigate abuse effectively. Here’s how you can find the email headers in common email clients:

  • Gmail: Open the email, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and select “Show original.”
  • Outlook: Open the email, click on “File,” then “Properties,” and look under “Internet headers.”
  • Apple Mail: Open the email, click “View,” then “Message,” and select “All Headers.”
